Anna Lesceline Holmes
Anna Lesceline Holmes grew up bilingual, speaking English and German, which enables her to give speech therapy in both languages. Anna began cello and piano lessons when she was 7 years old. Early on she startetd to write and perform her own songs. When she was 13 she won a music scholarship to the famous boarding school Bedales, in southern England, that is renowned for its teaching of music and art.
After she left school Anna attended the Stage school of Music, Dance and Drama in Hamburg. At the beginning of the 1990s she moved to Berlin to take up a theatre engagement. Berlin became her city of choice. She played in many stage performances and featured in films and TV series. At the same time she began to give singing lessons to young people. The theme of “voice” interested her so much that she decided to qualify as a speech therapist. Before returning to Berlin to set up her own praxis, Anna worked as a singing teacher at the Music School Frauenfeld in Switzerland for two years.
Her experience as an actress and singer and her specialist knowledge as a speech therapist endow Anna Holmes with the know-how needed to enable clients achieve correct breathing techniques and a harmonious and melodious speaking voice.
